Stephen Burridge’s approach is shaped by a career in editorial, fashion and celebrity portraiture, with a soft spot for fine-art photography. Emily’s usually the calmest person in the room.
Between us, things tend to land somewhere between effortless and considered — which is exactly where we like it.
We photograph on genuine 35mm and medium-format film, alongside digital. We love the grain, the colour, the imperfections and the unpredictability — the way film makes everything feel a little more alive.
Most of our weddings happen in London. City weddings move fast.

Questions, answered
Do you photograph on film or digital?
Both, although film is at the heart of the work.
We photograph primarily on genuine 35mm and medium-format film, with digital used alongside it when it makes sense. Most couples receive a considered mix of both.
What’s it actually like having you there on the day?
Pretty unobtrusive, honestly.
We document what’s happening rather than trying to orchestrate it. You won’t spend the day being endlessly posed or directed. We’ll step in when it’s useful, then give everything room to happen naturally.
Couples often tell us they forgot we were there—which is exactly the idea.
How long until we receive our photographs?
Usually around 6–8 weeks.
Film needs to be developed, scanned and carefully edited alongside the digital photography. We’d always rather take the time to do it properly than rush the finished work.
How many photographs will we receive?
It depends on the length and shape of the wedding. A full day typically produces around 400–600 finished photographs, while shorter London ceremonies naturally produce a smaller collection.
We edit for quality rather than quantity. Every photograph is there for a reason.
What does wedding photography cost?
Short London Town Hall and registry-office coverage 2/3 hours begins at £950.
Full-day wedding photography typically falls between £2,800–£3,200, depending on the coverage and plans for the day. Entirely film-based coverage is also available from £4,000.

What does destination wedding photography cost?
Destination weddings are quoted individually according to location, travel and the amount of coverage involved.
Most couples invest between £3,500–£6,000 for wedding-weekend photography across Europe, including travel and accommodation. Coverage can include the welcome evening, wedding day and celebrations the following day, photographed across 35mm, medium-format film and digital.
