City Weddings move differently
We photograph weddings across London, the UK, and Europe.
Mostly on film.
Always documenting things as they actually felt.
The real moments.
The in-between bits.
The slightly chaotic, slightly magic parts of the day.
Nothing staged. Nothing overdone.
Stephen comes from an editorial and fashion background, with a soft spot for fine art photography. Emily’s usually the calmest person in the room.
Between us, things tend to land somewhere between effortless and considered — which is exactly where we like it. We shoot mostly on 35mm and medium format film, alongside digital.
We love:
- the grain
- the colours
- the imperfections
- the unpredictability
The way it all feels a bit more alive.
Most of our weddings happen in London. City weddings move fast.
We like that.
A Few Things Worth Knowing
Do you shoot on film or digital?
Both.
Though film is where our hearts are.
We shoot primarily on 35mm and medium format, with digital alongside for reliability — especially once the light disappears.
Most couples end up with a mix of both.
What’s it actually like having you there on the day?
Pretty unobtrusive, honestly.
We’re there to document what’s actually happening — not orchestrate it.
You won’t spend the day being endlessly posed or directed. We’ll step in when it’s useful, but mostly we just let things unfold naturally.
Couples often tell us they forgot we were there — which is exactly the idea.
How long until we get our photos?
Usually around 6–8 weeks.
Film takes time. It needs to be developed, scanned, and edited carefully.
We’d always rather take the time to do it properly than rush something out.
How many photos will we receive?
It varies depending on the wedding, but most couples receive somewhere between 400–600 images.
We edit for quality over quantity — every image is there for a reason.
What does it cost?
Every wedding is a little different, so we don’t really believe in one-size-fits-all pricing.
Get in touch and we’ll put something together that makes sense for your plans.
